Default PCV question

I was checking out the PCV on my 92 SSEI. It'* still very clean with no visible oil on it.

What I want to know is if the valve should come with an O-ring? There'* no O-ring on it now. I did a search and the 92 SE has an O-ring, but no mention for the SSEI.

My '92 FSM (page 6E3-C13-2) shows (from the bottom up) an o-ring, pcv valve, a spring, a cover plate, and two screws for the VIN1 engine .

That is correct. The o-ring goes on the bottom of the PCV valve, between the valve and the supercharger as you set it in. Then the spring and cap.

My PCV is clean as a whistle. I don't burn much oil...maybe a 1/2 pint low after 5,000 miles.

Thanks for the information. I'll go out and get a new valve and an O-ring.
