overheating 3.8 series 1 */c engine
ok,yesterday my car overheated to the point that it was inches away to hit the red markings on my tempeture gauge.I pulled over, and carefully popped the cap open, and the gasket on the radiator cap ir ripped in two pieces, you guys think thats why my car is overheating,or id it another problem that maybe you guys have in mind!

Which areas were wet with coolant? If you are overheating the thermostat may have stuck closed or a leak should be present.
It sounds like you found an issue with the radiator cap...but are there any other spots that are wet? The coolant outlet under the nose of the supercharger is a composite from the factory and does degrade/break over time until it is replaced with a metal piece. That is another possibility.

Revving your car for that long to 3500 under no load? VERY bad.
Glowing manifolds? Probably running lean. Check your fuel pressure, and don't ever rev your motor that high for that long.

so then, there was coolant in the radiator then? sounds like thermostat or WP? and red hot is lean. and probably had a huge amount of KR due to the heat. that probably did nothing good for that engine. i've overheated mine, and it still runs perfectly, but then again isn't supercharged, so you MIGHT be ok if you track down the problem.
definitely change your oil now tho, oil is never any good after an overheating.
didn't see it mentioned, but were you getting any codes?
