What are some of you guys running (acording to boost gauge)for boost pressure.
This is my first Supercharged Engine so I am trying to make sure everything is in order

Got the car from my father with a brand new rebuilt SC... ran to 7ish/8ish on the guage at W.O.T...
then the boost control solenoid died and it dropped to 2 (bounced a lil between 2 & 3) at wot...
after fixing the bcs, its up to 6ish, goes just past the middle line at wot... seems a lil low to me but most say thats about average for no mods... mind you im on a 94 SSEi, with a m62 SC and thats a series 1 engine...
could be different for a later year model

Mine goes way past the 10. Might be because I'm not exactly stock.

7-9psi is normal for stock at WOT. Normal driving pressure will vary greatly based on how much additional the pcm determines you need.

Once modded the general rule of thumb is not to exceed 13 psi. Factory gaskets are only rated to 10psi, however most folks don't encounter problems even running up to 15psi.

After 13psi you are generating more heat and pressure in the manifold than can flow through stock heads. This is called boost stacking. And similar to piling boxes in front of a door....stacking doesn't help you/air get in the door.

Yeah Im runnin about 8, 9 depending on the weather at WOT. Thats with a gutted airbox.
