You know that green LED picture of a car on the dash on the sseis? Well for some reaosn mine turns on and off occasionally...Do you think its a loose connection? Has anyone else had this problem? Let me know. I really don't want to take the dash apart but I think I might have to.

I know of quite a few 92-99 SSE/SSEi owners that have the same problem, including me. Very occasionally the display turns off or sometimes it lights up jibberish. It gets a little worse when it'* cold out.

The only way I know how to repair it is to ship it to United Radio in Syracuse. Otherwise you can swap it with a remanufactured one from the dealer. I think either way it runs around $175.

I would be very interested to hear if anyone knows how to fix this problem. This is probably the next project on my car.

come to think of it, it has been acting up alot since winter and the colder temps. I might just try unplugging the harness and then plugging it back in.

I tried that! Took the whole thing out, plugged it back in, same thing.

Those take a while to get out because there are so many screws...
