Does the dashboard speedometer work properly? Does the HUD speed light up, or does it just stay at zero?

Back when I was having contact-pin problems in the gauge cluster (flickering displays, etc.), I noticed that the HUD was affected as well. Some of its inputs go through the gauge cluster, so if they're dropping out, I'd suspect the usual gauge cluster dirty-contacts problem here, rather than anything within the HUD unit itself.

Some of them do, I believe the speed comes directly from the PCM. But still need to know if the speed reads zero or is it blank?

What do you mean when you say it does not reset?

Check Fuse 5A. Is it OK?

Bad sign. You need to check the dark green and white wire for voltage. You can do it at terminal 8 of the HUD control module, or at the PCM.
