Hey guys. Noticed a couple days ago when I reached into my back pass side floor that the carpet was SOAKED. I had a feeling it was the weatherstripping since the same thing happened to my drivers door floorboard a couple years ago. At the time, I was stupid, and only tore off and re-stuck the drivers side front door stripping with 3M Weatherstrip adhesive. Today I spent a good part of the afternoon vaccuming the carpet dry, and also tearing the weatherstripping off ALL the remainder of my doors and re-applying them very nicely. Overall the project turned out great, and I'm sure that problem is definetely solved, but I just wanted to warn everyone else. Before your carpet gets to drenched, you might want to spend the $6 and and 3-4 hours and re-do all your doors (It shrinks with weather / time, and the main problem was around the rearmost section of the rear door). Open up your back doors, and follow the weatherstripping along the top towards the back, down along the side, and when it gets to the furthest most back point it will make a bend. If its loose, or you can pull it away from the metal with your fingers, I would recommend re-sticking it ASAP. Just some advice...

Now, heres where I need some help.. I figured while I had the car in my nice warm garage opposed to this 30 degree blizzard NY day we are having, I would check the trunk weatherstripping too. The weatherstripping appears fine all the way around, however I noticed the Passenger side carpet and "foam" padding running down into the spare tire well was soaked. The driver'* side was completely dry however. Now, when I did my taillight tinting back in april / may, I not only used the factory mounts, I put 4 screws directly into the 4 filled "posts" sticking off of the taillights. I am almost 100% sure that the water isnt coming from the taillights. I also did the same thing on both sides and the driver side remains dry, so once again I highly doubt its that. Has anyone else ever had this problem?? Where is thew ater coming from, and where should I look to fix it?? ANY advice would be appreciated.
