TIME TO CHANGE THE TPS
OK Pulled the code off my wife'* 92 SSEi - TPS. Found the part TH50 I believe for about 50.00.
Only question, degree, if any, of difficulty? Anything special needed.
Thanks

I'd have to double-check my books for the 92, so if you hold tight, I'll check later tonight. Use a short ratchet tool with a phillips bit to change it so you don't have to remove the TB.

OK the information gathered here is most helpful. I'll assume for the moment I'll have to adjust the TPS. I don't have a scan tool. Is it possible to do the calibration with a multi-meter and if so, what range will I be looking for as acceptable.
Thanks again guys. Any of you ever get an SHO I can get you virtually any information you need on it much like you do with the Bonnies.

I did not have to do any adjustment when I replaced my TPS. I do not recall the repair manual telling me that it had to be adjusted.
Also, the TPS voltage is right where it is supposed to be at idle per my scan tool. I would have to double check my repair manual to see if it matches yours.
