Default Coil packs on 97

How do I test the coil packs, to make sure they are working correctly?

I have a digital multimeter i can borrow from work...

I'm replacing my car'* plugs and wires, hoping to get rid of the vibrations and hesitation.

Coil packs too if they are bad.

You'll have to remove them from the car to test them.

Check resistance between the primary coils. I should be between 0.5 and 0.9 ohms. The secondaries should be between 5k and 8k.

Here'* the pinout for secondaries......on the top (plug wire terminals) read 1-4, 5-2, and 3-6. Easy?

Primaries can be read from underneath.
