Well I hear Kia is offering some really nice incentives and promotions on those mercedes models with the chrysler grills.

But most cars have a lot of problems. Even if you buy a honda/nissan/toyota you ARE going to have problems if it is an older car. Stuff Breaks. New cars are more complicated than before and have MORE STUFF TO BREAK and are higher performance which means more heat which means more wear and tear.

and failing twice AFTER $700 at 13K or so was a problem with the dealer, not the car.

Well if price/performance/reliablitly/gas miliage are your factors I beg you to find a better deal than a mid 90'* bonne/GP/other 3.8 powered car.
