Down at the cardealership close to me there'* a '97 Firebird. Its got TC ground effects so it basically looks like a Trans-Am..dual exhaust, ect.. . Do you think it'd be worth trading in the bonne for the bird? They both have the exact same engine..but the bird is supercharged. It'* got around 87,000miles and its 7,000 $ ..and in pretty good condition inside/out. What do ya think?

I think it might be worth it. 87,000 isnt alot of miles. It has decent rims. It'* still a pontiac and its got a better engine. The only question is, how much money is it gonna cost on top of what you will get on trade in?

I'm hoping to get $ 4,500 out of my Bonne, so i hopefully will only be paying around 2500 $ extra for the bird.

Thats really up to you if you want space or not. THe Firebird is a sports car. The Bonneville is Sport luxury. Hell keep the Bonny.

You will have to fight for 4 on the bonny and he will try and soak ya for an extra 3 on the bird. In the end the price goes up on the final note. Well the rest is the same in my book. You can get 400-450hp out of ant Bonneville. I am sure you can get more out of a v6 bird, but how much more? Anyway it’* a hard choice. I love both cars.

Default DON'T DO IT!!!

Ibought an 02 Tans Am In Feb. I just had to have it. I owned a 71 Formula 400 when I was a kid and always thought I wanted a Tras Am. Well now the T/A is my wife'* car and I'm back in my Bonnie. where I belong. Yeah the bird is fast, looks awesome and draws alot of attention but it rides like crap, doesn't have areal back seat and the insurance runs about 35% more. Just think about it real hard.

I would never trade in all those cup holders!
Buy the car flat out or let somebody else buy it
Keeping your bonnie is alot better than putting your drink in between your legs . BELIEVE ME . I have 3 F-bodies in the family!
