Default Help, wiper arms!

Does anyone know how to remove the wiper arms on my '97 SSE? There are little tabs around the base but they don't seem to move.

Thanks,
Bob

Usually you lift the wiper arm off the glass as high as it will go, _then_ the tab should pull out. At this point you can release the arm and it will stay up, and some wiggling of the whole thing, this way and that, will eventually pull it straight off the splined shaft.
