CV Halfshaft
When removing the old cv halfshaft (this was on Raptor660s 1992 Bonneville) watch out for the sensors on the motor as you pull the cv halfshaft out of the trans. Real easy to break the oil pressure sensor ($25.00). Next time we'll remove it and reinstall it later. The Bonne also needed a new ball joint. The Brother-in-law came over(Raptor660 wasn't there) and we torched off the old ball joint while leaving the bad cv halfshaft in place. Only set the car on fire a couple times, those boots sure can burn. Everything is better than new, no harm done. If you have access to a torch it makes replacing ball joints so much easier. Just remove the cv halfshaft if you want to keep it.

Everything went smoothly. And was a good learning experience. There is nothing like the satisfaction of trying something new, doing it correctly, saving money, and gaining knowledge. Thank You mg92bonnie.
