Default Cruise Control Problem- NOT Vacuum or Switch Related....?

I am stuck.

Ironically I was checking out a 94 SE parts car in BONNEVILLE county lol and bought the multifunction cruise control switch.

Well installed it and STILL NO CRUISE

Replaced all vacuum lines and had it looked at a shop and their guess was the switch as they were common to fail on GM cars.

So where do I go from now. I know nothing about this system and haynes and chilton does not tell me much.

Remember it is a 94 so checking codes is another $30 at least from a dealer, that just includes hooking the car up to a computer and running basic tests and codes.

According to the previous owner he pretty much just used the cruise all the time and said it worked great....

I have replaced:

All vacuum lines under the hood except the 180* ones on the TB (l27).
Cruise Control Switch
Checked fuse in passenger side fuse box (good fuse).

What are other components that control cruise?

What also could be wrong?

THANKS

It'* on the brake pedal.

1. Pull the kick panel.
2. Look up at the bottom of the dash.
3. The white bodied switch with the black vacuum hose going to it is the CC brake switch.

It'* supposed to be adjusted to where the divet in the button end is even with the body of the switch when the brake is up. Also, Since you didn't know where this switch was I kind of doubt you replaced the vacuum line to it...Might want to look into that.
