No Cooling Fans and AC not Cycling
Noticed a few days ago. When parked for awhile, when the car heats up, I just hit the AC switch on my climate control to start the fans, and cool the car down. This stopped working to cool the car. Yesterday, I popped the hood and the fans were not running and the AC was not cycling. Are these problems related? I recharged the system in the spring. I will probably take this opportunity to run the High speed fan switch to the interior.
Thanks for any info!

The AC doesn't come on if the temp is below somewhere in the low 50s. I've tried with both of my cars to find when the temp turns off the ability to run the compressor, but couldn't for sure. But I'm in Ohio and it'* substantially colder than a week ago. I'd expect the AC and the fans not to run just from turning on the AC interior switch.

Fans: start off by checking the connections for the relays under the maxifuse center. Clean all connections and I found (someone'* suggestion from here) to plug in and unplug the relay 5 times to help clean the contacts.

It gets past the mark after the 200 mark, a mark and a half past, but then I started moving, and it came right down. When moving, it rarely gets above the 200 mark.

ac and fans non-op
On a 1997 like mine the AC does not run below 43 degree outside temp as per the service manual. I have found my 1997 working at 38 degree but not lower. You do have a different system with your 1995...your compressor cycles to control AC pressure....mine has a V5 compressor [V5 compressors started in 1996] which does not cycle but changes displacement as needed. Both system would work the same though as far as lower limit for compressor engage. So if you turned your AC on below about 40 degrees neither the fans nor the AC compressor would come on. Also if the outside air temp sensor mounted to the support in front of the AC condenser becomes damaged or comes loose the AC would not work at ANY outside temperature. The body computer would think it is minus 40 degree outside and would not turn on the AC compressor. Hope this helps some.

I just cleaned the relays with still no fans, but since the temp in the garage is 52, the AC did cycle. I never knew about that one, would have saved me from turning the AC off in the winter all these years...
The fans still did not come on with the AC though...
Thanks for all the help!!
