Default reflective moonroof?

I have a 1997 SSEi. I love it! However, this year I have to park it in the sun because we have no room in our garage. The car paint is white and does OK, but that dark moonroof is a heat magnet that cooks the interior. I sure wish it were metalized to *reflect* heat instead of being darkly tinted. I'm guessing that the glass which is there would have to be removed. Has anyone done this?

Doesn't your car have the sunshade inside the car that covers up the moonroof?

Default

yes, it has that. However, it gets hot compared to other parts of the roof and is therefore a source of heat into the car.
