laydbaak is on a distinguished road

That ticking sound you guys say you hear when you have a cracked manifold, do you hear it at idle or accelleration or both? I seem to have a ticking during accel, also would a bad cat have anything to do with this? Remaned engine, ticking does not sound like coming from engine but underneath.
