Default Electronic Climate Control HELP

I have a 92 ssei, I recently put a remote starter on the car. I cant seem to figure out how to keep it on defrost. If I leve the defrost on when I shut the car off once I start it again with the remote it reset itself to the floor position. Is there anything I can do to keep it on defrost. Thanks for the help.

That 92-94 system is a fun one. You can't control where it goes for the most part.

You might want to consider switching up to a 95+

Yes, as 1993 says, it is possible. the head or part with the buttons that you press to control the system and the programmer or part behind the dash is needed to make the swap. Randman has made this change in his 93 SSEi and enjoyed the ability to control air flow.

no, this module is to the right of the head behind the glove box. I was unable to remove it without removing the dash in my 93 as there was a 7mm screw I couldn't get to. I have my 93 one here I'll grab a picture of it so you can see what it looks like.

Do you have Twilight Sentinal in the car currently? If so, then you should be able to. If not, you'll need a non, which I have as well.
