1992 Pontiac Bonneville gauge cluster.
I am just wondering how to remove a gauge cluster from a 1992 Pontiac Bonneville SE. I have the cluster out of the dash, but I cannot get the wiring with the gray clip from the back of the cluster. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

Should be just a single lock tab.

I have pulled mine several times and the plug in connection'* have a plastic clip that you have to push down on and wiggle them out. They are a very snug fit, Also if you remove the plastic panel off that'* under the steering column it makes it a lot easier to get to the connectors.I had to loosen the steering column and drop it down to get the cluster out of the dash.It is simple to do this. The plastic cover under the column has 4 10 mm bolts,2 on top and 2 at the very bottom.Once you remove this cover you will be able to see where the steering column bolts up.A 13 mm bolt on each side of the column Use a light so they will be easier to see. Just loosen the bolts about a 1/2" and it will make it much easier to work with.
