Default Needs 4T60E shift solenoid advice after changing A, did not fix.

OK, so I had 2nd gear start, Solenoid A measured 3 ohms and when grounding the grean wire on plug it would not click. So, spent 8 hours changing it, after replacing I tested with grounding green wire with ignition on and it then clicked, thought I was going to be golden. Got it all back togahter, no dice. exact same. I even grounded the green wire (heard click) and it dont start in low, just second. Any ideas? Deflated from weekend of work for nothing...

Do you have power at pin E on the case connector with the key on?

yes, for sure. As affirmed I can grond the return side of the solenoid A & B and hear them click with key on when I do so.
