What'* the problem? No blower? Air being directed only one way (defrost)?

Air being directed ONLY to the defrost AND NO HIGH SPEED for the fan.

Defrost is the default when there is no vacuum present. I would suspect a disconnected vacuum line at the reservoir right next to the brake booster.

With a manual climate control, LO, MED1 and MED2 go through a series of resistors but HI goes from another fused source, through a relay and to the blower motor. I would suspect either a blown fuse or a faulty relay.

I'll try to find specifics on the fuse and relay location while you check the vacuum line. K?

The HI blower fuse is #3 right hand underhood fuse block (30amp) and the relay is in the same neighborhood. Looking at the relays along the firewall from the front of the vehicle:

ac compressor.....horn.....blower...empty...ABS pump...main...Hi coolant fan...LO coolant fan

Well, I tried getting the fuse out, but it just pissed me off, so I'll have someone at a shop change it. If that doesn't work, I don't give a crap anymore. Thanks for the help, but if I mess with this car too much longer, it'll have a salvage title by the end of tonight.

Oh, I almost forgot. I did find the disconnected vacuum line, and now have the correct functions with the climate control. Thanks!

Rick

EDIT: Would that disconnected vacuum line cause the stumbling I've been having in the engine?
