Default Is this stuff be inside the dash


I know the picture is poor quality,but that mass should that be inside dash. And what is the easy way to get out the vents in the car. This was found on in the passenger side it is blowing lot better now.

That IS a poor pic, because from here, it looks like something Id smoke

What is it exactly? dust balls, padding? Looks like the padding under the trunk carpet.

it ground up trunk padding , I aslo some feathers in their. I fear I might have to take the dash apart to clean them. Please Please let their be a easy way. Oh if you come to michigan meet I will let you try to smoke it if you want

You gots meeces is what... Little rodent friends making nests in your HVAC system. I have had pretty good luck using a screwdriver to gently pop out the vent grates and I think yours are the same as mine.

In any case you might try your local major hardware chain and look for a kit they sell that adapts a regular shop vac hose to small cleaning attachments. It might allow you to get in there and vacuum some of that nesting material out of there.

A cheapo, rigged alternative might be to duct tape a smaller diameter hose to the end of a shop vac and use that to get in there after removing the vent.
