Oil Pressure switch..... Help....Location?
Hi Guys.....
Going to buy a oil pressure switch tomorrow morning...
Can anyone tell me where on the motor to find it....
also...will i lose and oil on the replacement.....
and anything else i should know on replacing it...
Does anyone know the GM part number for this? trying to get a price
from GMdirectparts.com incase its alot cheaper...
Just trying to get a jumpstart for tomorrows repair...

autozone has it for around 20. it is located on the passenger side of the engine at the rear, facing the firewall. it will have an electrical plug in on the end and you will need a deep socket to get it out. You will lose some oil on replacement but it will not be much. It takes about 10 minutes for the total project to be completed from start to finish. good luck and let us know how it goes!

Ok...I bought the switch...and I will have to get a bigger socket for it...mine are too small...
Now... I'll be damned if I can see that switch on the motor!
Will I have to access this from under the car??
Any advise is greatly appreciated!

Then I need to find where the hell it is on the motor!
