Default Check Engine Soon!!!!

Just when I got my CAI working perfectly, after a brisk drive that involved a little tire spinning, the damn "Check Engine Soon" light comes on. And it'* staying on, so I guess it'* time to take her into the dealer to clear it and find up what'* up.

I tried disconnecting the battery for 1/2 hr but it had no effect.

Everything is running fine and it'* performing better than ever.

So today I put the stock airbox back on and reinstalled the MAF screen for the Service inspection so the 6 yr warrantee won't be affected. Noticed a definite lack of gusto .......and it'* back to that quiet sound of accelleration .........I really like the whining sound of the supercharger and it sounds sooooo much better with the open cone filter.

Hopefully it turns out to be nothing serious....but it makes me glad that I haven't yet made any irreversible changes that might affect the 6 year warranty.
GRRRRRR I can't wait 3 more F----- years :!

Was your IAT disconnected? It'll throw a code and a light.

Other than that, I can't imagine anything you did that would cause this. Not a thing. My bet is that it'* totally unrelated.

Well I brought Bonne into the dealer today to "Service the Engine Soon" diagnosis.

It tripped on a code of "Low Coolant Temp".

I know when it went off, I was driving rather aggresively with a coolant temp of about 150 F.

Is there a coolant temp minimum that won't set off the code :?:
