Muffler!
So after my uncle inspected my rattle and fixed it he found that I have a hole in my muffler. One of my exhaust tip things fell off so I'm in need of replacement stuff.
He is going to price stuff out for me but I wanted to see what you guys rec. He said something about not having to do anything with the catalytic converter.
this stuff is so difficult for me because I'm uneducated about it... but if I can do something aftermarket I'm up for it and he would be too. I assume what he is going to price out will be ridiculously (spelling?) expensive.
Thanks!
Adam Moore
also if you want to talk to me on aim about this (be easier for me to understand) my aim name is n6swerve

I wanted something a little more suttle for my 95 SE. I tried a Flowmaster and didn't like it. I ended up going with a stock replacement 95 Firebird muffler... I'm very pleased....

Tomorrow I will find out for sure as I speak with my uncle.
This week has already sucked and it just started.
1. muffler
2. ipod brakes right at the height of the gift giving year... so I'll get a giftcard but will not be able to find a replacement.
3. It'* 3 A.m. and I'm wide awake.
goodnight and thanks again!

Adam.. Exhaust work is easy with the right tools. Sounds like your Uncle has been there before. Follow his lead. You'll probably be the temporary muffler support (aka muffler holder).
One thing you want to make sure of..is that the holders you use are very secure and can't fall out of the rubber mounts easily. That seems to be the most annoying thing when redoing exhaust..one side falling out later....

Thanks for the words. But I won't be involved in any of it.
He is a mechanic at a stealership. But I get the hookup. Usually the pain is getting a hold of him.
