Fuel pump/sending unit
Can someone please please clarify if the sending unit is integrated into the fuel pump?
My fuel guage has gotten very whacky (sweeps back and forth regardless of true fuel level) and is driving me nuts! I want to fix it, but am confused if the sending unit is integrated? I thought it was...but this thread makes me think otherwise:

I think I'm going to replace the pump and sender at the same time. 100K miles so the pump'* days are probably becoming numbered. If not, it'* good insurance anyway.
