Grinding Sound when cold PLEASE HELP
Every morning my car warms up for about 15min. As i pull away from the drive way and get into second gear my trans will make a grinding/slipping sound that seem'* to come for the front drivers side. Once it as shifted once into second i will never make that sound agian until the next moring. It does not happen all the time. I may to it every day for a week and not do it agian for 2. It is messed up and i was hoping that some one would help me figure this problem out. Also i have only heard this sound when i am just taking off slow as possible. I have changed trans fluid and filter and car is a 94 and only has 65,000 on it. PLEASE HELP and give any suggestions.
Thanks, Ryan

Now that I'm listening for it, I hear it too -- don't recall it ever being that noticeable before. Is the sound an indication of a problem? Or does it just mean I need new brake pads?
