Default tensioner assembly removal

i can't seem to get it off...i removed the alt., removed the other two bolts holding it in, and i tried pulling on it for a while, and it just won't budge. any tips? is there a spot i can hit it or pry it to get it loose? other threads just said to pull it gently, but i really am not getting it at all. thanks in advance for any help

The bolt is inside the center of the tensioner pivot. Sounds like you got it. Make sure the keyway lines up when you reinstall it.

i was removing the whole tensioner assembly cuz it didn't match up with the motor. the belt is routed slightly differently cuz the power steering pump is located toward the back a little bit more. this causes the belt to rub on one of the heater hose bolts and rub a nice trench into it and probably right through it within 20 miles of driving...but the other one (the 99 lesabre one) doesn't fit either; well it does, but i'd need a different alternator...so i guess i have to swap where the power steering pump mounts.
