Default Console Shifter Lights

I was wondering if the floor shifter in my console shows any lighted indication of what gear you are in? At night the P R N D stuff illuminates but they are all the same brightness. Just wondering as I sometimes put it in normal drive instead of overdrive by accident and don't notice it for quite awhile. I know on my wifes chevy she has an indicator up in the dash that tells you what gear you are in. Not a big deal, thought maybe a light could be burned out or something.

Thanks guys.

Nope no separate LEDs or anything like that. Just one light illuminating all. Sometimes counting the number of different gears you pass helps, like from park 3 times or something like that. It helps when its dark out.

Thanks, I was not sure if it was lighted or not. This is the first Bonneville I ever rode in.
