My '93 SE seems to have developed a tranny fluid leak that I haven't quite been able to pin down. It'* nothing major: more of an annoyance than anything else, but still...
I've bought engine de-greaser and plan on cleaning off the underside of the car this weekend to help track it down, but are there "classic leak spots" that I should be aware of?
I did call both Pontiac and a local dealer to have them run my VIN because I know that some Bonnies of my vintage had a recall on the tranny coolant lines: nothing showed up in either of their systems for my VIN.
Any ideas on where I should concentrate my search?

the recalls i do belive were only pertaining to the Supercharged models with external tranny coolers, someone chime in if I am wrong. Usually they will develop a leak at the pan itself, the gasket in most cases is a reusable, but if it is not you will want to get a good Fel-Pro gasket from the dealer and seal it up, 14 ft/lbs for each bolt in a criss cross pattern does it up good.

There are two rubber tranny lines that are failure prone. They connect the metal lines that run directly out of the transmission in the front with the lines that run across the bottom of the car behind the radiator to the cooler.
If you look underneath your drivers side radiator hose, they will be right infront of the trans.
I had to replace mine twice already.
I doubled up the hose clamps on both ends too.

The recall has expired, and has nothing to do with external coolers. I'm a past victim of the failure. The factory crimp on 92/93 Bonnevilles blows out just below the radiator fans (you can see these where the steel meets the rubber). Trans fluid can spray on your front exhaust manifold and start a fire. Trust me. I recovered from it quickly, and replacement parts (both lines) new from the dealer were very reasonable. I recall about 60 bucks total?
