But seriously, when I pulled my screen, it seemed like I'd get a gas smell once in a while, too. As the car ran fine, and I found no evidence of leaks, I didn't worry too much.
I haven't noticed it at all since I put the screen back in and changed the pressure regulator..

For some reason I dont think thats it... Ive had that out for 7 mnts now and no ill effects... why the change now?? I was thinking fuel filter or bad spark? The ground is wet outside and I didnt get a real goood see if there was fuel leaking. My brothers 89 leaked fuel from right in front of the fuel filter could this be my prob maybe a choked filter??

Hey, check the lines going to the evap recovery canister. Check for a cracked canister, also. That'* another prime location for a possible smell/leak in addition to the FPR.

Mounted in the rear fuel rail. You can't miss it.
On the evap recovery can, pay particular attention to the line from the TB to the can, and the line from the can to the gas tank.
