Front FE2 swaybar removal...
I'm taking the swaybars off my 95 for bugsi...both are loose but I can't snake the front one out. I can move it around a lot, but I just can't get it out. I can almost get the swaybar to drop from underneat the car between the rear subframe rails, but I need about 2 extra inches to get it out and I just can't do it.
Any suggestions? Dropping the rear of the subframe is not an option, the car is in a field in non-running condition

You may have to jack up the front & remove the tires. You may also possibly have to disconnect the left outer tie rod from the steering knuckle, then remove the exhaust manifold pipe (down pipe), then remove the stabilizer shaft out the left side of the car. This is a brief description from the 01 fsm, yours should be similar. I'm sure some 92-99 GH'* will chime in here soon.

Send a PM to BonneMEMN -he'* done it I know.
You might also do a search as he and Dameorder swapped the FE1 over to FE2 2 years ago. I know they had to remove the passenger wheel and jack the car under the passenger front door at the jacking point, so the sub frame and control arm could hang down.
Also required turning the sway bar.

CorvetteCrazy has also done it.
He did drop the rear subframe...however with that out as an option. He did mention you needed to probably pull the tire/tie rod to get more room.

Pop the tierods out of the knuckles, turn the left wheel left and the right wheel right, rotate the bar upwards and slide it out. Watch the fender as it'll come very close. takes an hour for the whole thing.

I just want to thank everyone who is lending advice in this endeavor. I've been wanting to do this FE1 to FE2 upgrade for a long time. I hope he can get the swaybars out!
