Bearing noise? Rod knock? Bad HB? Luckily, not...
I was sitting in the drive-through at Wendy'* last night waiting for my Baconator, when I started hearing a clattering sound from under the '98 LeSabre. I could only hear it at idle, and only in Drive...
In a panic, I went through the noise checklist in my mind...bearing noise? Rod knock? Bad harmonic balancer?
Put her up on the ramps this morning to check it out...

Just a loose dogbone mount, whew!!!
Some jacking, some wrenching, and we're as good as new.

Glad to hear it was nice and small.
FYI S2'* haven't seen the typical HB failure like the S1'*. Maybe it'* because of the aging, overall it'* not very common yet. (even on my 200K + balancer)
