Car getting really hot
I have a 95 ssei, with a drilled 180 tstat, my car comes up the var just abouve the red line, whats wrong with my carAnybody have the same issue, doesnt do this in cold weather only when warm or really hot,( could it be my fans arnt turing on? if thats it how would i fix it?

Make sure you don't have a clog in your system. When the car is cold, start it up and pull the rad cap off and see if the coolant'* flowing in the radiator once the t stat opens up.......Check and see if your water pump is shot

The cat is brand new, the tstat is about 1 month old, with the AC it actually gets hotter, when i trun the heat on full it cools a bit. ill see if the fans come on if not i got some issues

Don't assume the stat is good. Did it do this before the stat change? I've seen half a dozen bad stats posted here in the last year, new out of the box.
If your car gets hotter with the AC on, sounds like a fan problem to me. It should cool it down fairly quickly.....3 to 5 minutes or so.

I had a similar problem last summer. Car would run hot even with the fans on and even hotter with the ac on. Turns out my radiator was plugged up with some lint type stuffand other things. About 70% of it was blocked and i wasn't gettign any airflow. I took it out and sprayed it clean with the garden hose and flushed it out and no more overheating.
I noticed it was plugged when i was putting on my tranny cooler and i was under teh car and could see the front of the radiator and noticed it was plugged.

Ok...now that it'* warm in New England...I noticed my fans weren't on. They work with the a/c on. Just replaced the temp sensor for them on the intake under the TB. Will...you had sent me pics of where the relays were and they ended up being the a/c....thought it was fans too..but was too cold to tell. I'm back under the hood if anyone knows exactly which relays on a 95 SSEi control the fans w/temp sensor.
