THANK YOU JR,AND CAMERON !!! YOU'VE PINPOINTED THE PROBLEM PRECISLY ON THE HEAD! AFTER YOUR SUGGESTIONS I POPPED OPEN MY HOOD AND DETECTED A LEAK W/ THE MASTER CYLINDER AND SURE ENOUGH I WAS LOW ON BRAKE FLUID..I WILL TOLERATE THE DINGING TILL I GET HOME AND FILL UP MY BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIR.THIS COULD'VE EASILY TURNED INTO A HUNDRED DOLLAR $$$$$ PROBLEM, AFTER GETTING SCREWED TAKING IT TO A MECHANIC..URGHHH..ANYWAY I HIGHLY APPRECIATE YOUR INPUT !! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK !!

If you run out of brake fluid before you get home, it could turn into a lot more than a high $$ problem. You could lose your brakes and kill someone or yourself. You really should get some brake fluid before you move the car, but I realize by now it'* a moot point.
Did you get home ok?

Hey guys, Bonny and I got home o.k., I follwed the advice given, and the brake fluid in the reservoir was about half empty,as soon as i got home i refilled it to the MAX line indicated on the reservoir.I turned my car on and the brake light remained lit,I pressed and depressed the brake pedal several times with no luck.I reexamined the reservoir, wiggled it a bit, checked the lines going down to the anti lock brake unit for any more leaks, the brake light fuse, every thing seems o.k. of course except the trickle of brake fluid leaking from were the master cylinder meets the reservoir unit.I can just replace the gasket for that.but i dont think that would be the problem with the Dinging brake light still being on otherwise the light would have come on a soon as the leak started...right?..I don,t know..I drove it down the alley(cautiously) at various speeds and braking is as good as could be.I unplugged the wire harness going to the reservoir,And ONLY THEN does the brake light TURN OFF. I plugged it back in,Thinking maybe it would reset itself right or something, but the Dinging and brake light only came on again! I unplugged it and drove it down the alley again to see if their was any difference in braking,Braking is good.. So now the question is,... Is it o.k. to drive around with the harness unplugged from the reservoir unit?Or are their any other solutions this problem, my fellow bonneville enthusiests....

Thanks J.R.,I might have to shell out some $dough$ for this problem,I wonder if i might need to bleed the brakes? i dont know? I.ll just have to drive with the harness unplugged till i get the $$ to fix it i guess... that is of coarse someone else might have some further advice....Thanks again.

Yeah mine is leaking too but I don't think it is leaking from where the master cylinder meets the booster. I think mine is leaking from one of the two front brakelines where they enter the master cylinder.
