Is the water pump leaking? If not, ignore it for now.

Thermostat (drilled 180), and a coolant flush are good places to start. A clogged radiator core can be another.

No my coolant is leaking, haven't lost any coolant since I've baught it, today my low coolant came on so I checked it and the level hasn't dropped at all, so I watched it on the way home and it shuts off when I'm going 40mph or more but comes on as soon as I stop or shortly after hitting about 30mph. Temp gauge goes to the line after the 200* mark when idling for about 5min., but while driving it drops to the line before the 200* point with in minute or so. Do you think the vaines on the water pump are worn out after time? don't know or think the kid that owned it before me ever changed it, will ask him tomorrow(later today)....

Ok, today I got the oil changed and a new fuel filter. Now its idling rough and dying right after startup again. Also the new oil was pretty dirty right when I put it in. I talked to the guy and he said to put seafoam in a full tank of gas. Should I do this or is there a better cleaner I can put in?

EDIT: Ok, I went to a different AutoZone and had the check engine light checked again. This time I got a code 13 which is a bad oxygen sensor! Dumba** at the other one said it was 31. The guy that checked it has a supercharged bonneville and he said "Smells richer than my bonneville." Can I get some reconmendations on a new oxygen sensor please!?!?

Also I put some fuel injector cleaner in also to help get all that **it out.

so uh ya I seen in another post that the temp gage in the dash isn't very accurate, fans kick on when the temp hits the line after 200 mark, the they shut off when the gage drops to the 200 mark.

As far as your bonnie running rich could be caused by a bad O2 sensor I know it did in my 4runner, but these aren't jap. crap either so might want to ask a B.C. gearhead

AC Delco O2 sensor ONLY.

But that won't make your car die. It'll still run in default mode. However, a bad O2 will quickly kill (plug) a catalytic converter, which can prevent you from idling and driving. Get your cat checked for backpressure if you can.

theres another way to check to see if you'r cat is bad, BUT it will ruin it if it isn't bad, I did this with another one of my vehicals, drill a hole or two in it and see if it clears up, BUT IF YOU DO THIS IT WILL RUIN IT, IF IT'* NOT BAD, can't stress that enough.
