Bolts for air dam (95 SSEi)
Anyone happen to know which size bolt I'd need to reattach the air dam underneath the 95 SSEi? I never got around to reattaching it when I bought the car.

The black lower air dam? Mine had a few 8?mm bolts with nuts on retainer clips (whatever they are called), you're gonna need some of them, and a handful of push-in retainers.

Thanks. I've found that the FSMs like to say "bolts" when it refers to which bolt to use. I just didn't want to poke my head under the car yesterday. It got cold around here again.

The FSM should state what the bolts are in either the disassembly section or the back portion where the body repair is.
The reason I suggested that is so you can find exactly what it is, considering it doesn't sound like you have any samples.
Do you have any of the retainer clips? If you do, take one to the auto parts store with you.

you are at junkyards enough to pull them. I'm pretty sure they are the same as the side kick pannels.
I think the dealer wanted 8 bucks a pop for them. (which is why my air damn is still not on my car.)

I'm pretty sure at least one or two of the retainers are under there. One of my next trips to the yard is going to be just to strip bolts and retainer clips. I want to get a good bag of extras
Thanks CC, Will, and Jim

Just go a local car dealer and let them print out a copy of the parts manual section, our, go to gmdirectparts and print the picture. The parts manual will give you the dimensions for the fasteners and clips. The go to an autmotive paint supply store or to your local parts store and pick up new ones.

Are you talking about the splash shield I gave you? Cause...there was no air damn on the car that I remember. Pretty sure the owner before me used a curb to remove it.
