Bonneville HID Kit
(this post was split out of the Gatherings section....wanted all to see it - Willwren)
I've been wanting to get the HIDs for a while now, but haven't found a bonny owner with them. Where did you get them?

HID
I got mine from urbanimport.com for 450.00 plus shipping. There are a variety of sites that offer kits but this one was easy to install and came with Hella balasts. Installation is ridiculously easy, plug and play, no splicing or cutting wires. The hardest part was finding a place to mount the balasts.

was it worth it . I spent 60.00 on some bulbs from ebay . I looked for a specific bulb and found what I was looking for. I can park next to a IS300 and you can not tell the difference. Although they pull alot of power, they look great . My wuestion again, feeling this way , would it be worth it for me to get the kit?

I got the 9000k or violet hue(purple car, had to stick to the theme) and I get a lot of heads to turn. Hopefully I'll get some pics up in a day or two.
As for your question vze3r85p, it'* really a preference. I bought these last Nov. when I had given up hope of doing any kind of performance mods to my car if I had known of Bonneville Club ADTR or DP(bless these valiant men for all hard work on our beloved Bonnies) their then I would have spent money there instead. Before I was running 80 watt Naxos bulbs and they really heated up the lens assembly to the point it was almost painful to touch. My HIDs use only 32 watts and the lens assembly is considerably cooler. HIDs do have a distinct look especially when youre approaching them. I'd have to say go with what will suit your driving style.
