Subframe bolts broken HELP OMG PLZ!!!
omg i hate my buick so much! the struts are blown, the brakes are shot, had to put a new tranny in a new engine in and now my right rear subframe bolts have broken lose. Yes there is NOTHING holding the frame to the right side of the car!!! rear bolts are in there spot but they are not holding into the car just sitting there banging around. i dont know if the floor has to be cut or not to get at the bolts i need to replace all the bushings down there as well i really really really need some help or advice guys plz plz

the 6 bolts that hold the subframe to the body of the car? you should be able to get at them from under the car....unless they're different bolts you're referring to

yes those are them but the one on the right side rearmost bolt has riped it self form the sheetmetal that it screwed into. so it just spins and spins and spins and rattles are it is not holding onto anything at all its just chillin in there NOT good. So do i need to cut the floor above that bolt weld the top in place and then unscrew the bolt and repair the sheet metal i really need help here bad!

Since you're asking for advice, I'm guessing this is not a DIY job for you, so I'd add to that list "Auto Frame & Body Shop".
With as much wrong with the car as you say, before going to a body shop to have this fixed, I'd recommend you add up what it will cost to fix everything, then compare to what a much better condition used Bonneville costs. Believe it or not, sometimes you can actually buy a car that isn't a worthless pile of rusting money pit.

Looks like you are asking Badnit for the part numbers... In that body shop..I'm surprised you don't have the detailed drawings and availablitiy to the part numbers easier than most of us.
Once you do get the numbers from any source..please do list them for future searches.

I guess i am going to have to go to the dealership and get some new bushings if they have part numbers i will get them and list them. Yes i work in a frame pulling shop and i am worried about MY frame because i dont know how much work is involved. I dont pull frames my self i work in the bodyshop half so i dont know to much.

Ireally need some more help with this problem. bandit can you help me out please I did not relize your post was so old. I dont even know how I found that post. but I really do need some input from you on how you solved this.
