Default How to change from Km to miles?

Hi. Does anyone know how to change the HUD'* and odometer'* reading form Km to Miles and from Miles to Km. on a 98' SSE?

there should be a little button on the HUD controls that will do it. i think it is in the bottom right corner of it. If you are talking about the speedo in the dash... that you'd probably need a new one for.

Hi. On the HUD controls there'* only two contols, one to turn it on and off (plus dimmer) and the other one to go higher or lower on the windshield.

On my HUD there is a push button directly below the two controls you just mentioned. If it is not there check to make sure it hasn't been broken off. Hope this helps

92-95 has the switch
96-99 dont have the switch

i dont know how to help ya though...

I tried figuring this out when I had my 1999 SSEi, but never found any evidence of making it happen easily. Haven't really looked into it with my 98 SSE. I don't think a switch from a 1994/1995 would work either.
I personally would love to have this feature. Even better have it work like the 2000+ SSEi'* do it with the whole instrument cluster switching.

1) Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.

2) Press the ENG/MET switch on the instrument panel cluster (IPC) (causing the MPH/km/h indicator to change).

Sorry, but there is no such button on my 1998 SSE or old 1999 SSEi.
