starter
Today when i started my car, it was kind of weak and took a while before it actually started. Im not sure what the problem was, but when i got into the car, it smelled like gasoline. I was paralledl parked with both tires on the curb so i dont know if that affects anything. However, the second time i turned the car off later in the day and turned it back on, it was fine. So if anyone knows of anything I should be aware of, please tell me. Thanks!

Re: starter
I would check for corrosion on the connectors going to the starter and to the ground wire. Clean those connectors and it should improve your starting issue. Of course if the battery is weak or more than 3 years old, the logical choice would be to buy a new battery. But still clean those connections!!! The only other issue I would be concerned with is the "gas" issue. Do you still smell gas? Or has that smell gone away???

I'm really not sure about this. It could be that you just got gas and some spilled out (but that'* too obvious)? I've had that happen to me and my blood pressue did go up. But when it goes away as quickly as it appeared and DOES NOT come back, I tend not to worry about it. Drive on!

Could also be time to check those injector o-rings or maybe even FPR.
