That could do it. Those can be hard to see if your not paying attention. Getting home later at night has it'* advantages.

Well it looks as though that was the problem. The battery has stayed up for two nights now and it cranks like crazy. I guess I didn't need the new battery after all but what the heck, it can't hurt.
