Default Fuel filter

I found a filter in a closet I must have bought for my 98(L36) back in the day that never got put on. Can this be used on my 99 SSEi? I would presume GM wouldn't have two different fuel filters between the models but then again....
It'* an ACDelco GF578. I really don't feel like traipsing all over the interwebz trying to find an answer. :?

They're compatible with 1994+ Bonnevilles, L67 or L36
