I'm no expert..... but shouldn't you be using Dex-Cool? Isn't that what our engines were designed for? (someone correct me if I'm wrong).

Also the coolant you were talking about Steve only protects to 275f (says right on the website).... so if the temp was approaching 250-260 if would have been a good idea to shut her down.

i will take a peak at it now since i saw your thread and what it looks like

Steve....front driver side... how far to the front? Can you tell us what it is directly underneath?

Then you'll need to figure out where the leak is, don't just assume it'* directly over the puddle. Sometimes fluids run along frame and things before they hit the ground....plus if you have that stupid plastic splash shield under the front end...it'll mask the actual culprit.

I'm thinking radiator or hose. Your hoses are possibly original..meaning 8 years old. Also the radiators have plastic ends on them. They heat up and flex, this causes cracks in then ends. Usually they only leak and dribble which alerts the driver and you get it fixed. Only other thing over there that would be the first to check would be if you someone didn't put the t-stat housing back on properly.

Is it tight? Is it leaking from the TB gasket? I'd go TB Gasket, thermostat gasket, or radiator hose, being on that side of the motor.
