Hey there ho there. If you can wait until tomorrow morning, I'll go check the resistance of my coils if you want. These are on a Series II, but the Series I and Series II that use the 3 separate coil packs have the same part #. By the way, Wells replacement coil packs are $19 each and in stock at Autozone stores.

I did some quick searching online, and found that the primary resistance should be 0.34 ohms. There was not a spec listed for secondary resistance -- I'm not sure whether or not you can even measure a secondary resistance for these coils. Primary resistance should be measured from where one pin from the ignition module connects, on the bottom of the coil pack (you'll have to unbolt each pack to check this) to the corresponding top post.

It'* been in Techinfo for 2 years

If you have heat related problems, that won't help you though. I've had the Techinfo way work for me once, and fail for me once (under a heat-related failure).

Z06, can you put your Bonnevilles year and trim level in your signature? We can't remember what everyone drives, and some of your questions and problems are specific to some years, and don't relate to others.

I thought the primary was between bottom female pins.

Correct. Primary is bottom to bottom. Female pins.
Secondary is top to top.
