Default Tensioner Pulley

My 95 Bonne SE has a nice squeal coming from the tensioner pulley. In leau of replacing the whole assembly (need the $$ for other things at the moment), I remembered I have the tensioner assembly from my 00 Grand Prix laying in the garage. Now I doubt I can use that one, but my question is can I unbolt JUST the pulley itself and swap them out?

I'd think as long as the width, overall diameter, and bearing I.D. are the same it should work fine.
