Another option is to switch injectors and see if the condition follows the injector or stays in the same place.

Hold up a second....not trying to put down what the guys said, but let'* talk about it for a moment.

If an injector was sticking open, it wouldn't affect the timer that the pcm uses to control the prime of the fuel system. The PCM/Fuel pump have know sensor to tell how much pressure is in the system. Therefore it will not prime and run past it'* expected time unless .....pulls manual off shelf....

"When the key is first turned "ON", the PCM energizes the fuel pump relay for two seconds to build up the fuel pressure quickly. If the engine is not started within two seconds, the PCM shuts the fuel pump "OFF" and waits until the engine is cranked. When the engine is cranked and the RPM signal has been detected by the PCM, the PCM supplies 12 volts to the fuel pump relay to energize the electric in-tank fuel pump."

What that'* saying is if it'* staying on with only the key and engine not running for more than 2 seconds.....Bill is gonna say you have a 94/95 with the flakey PCM that is likely bad. When they flake..they can flake big or small. Key on, engine not cranked uses only the pcm to control the fuel pump. No other systems or items are controlling the length of time the pump runs.

I found a pcm in a nearby town for $50 bucks. I'm still waiting to hear back from the guy. I'll try him again tomorrow. Then, I'll go ahead and change the pcm to be on the safe side. If you don't mind, could you once again, point me in the right direction to find where you explained how to change the pcm? Thanks Bill.
