Well.. a lot of ppl will say different products from simple Green to Gunk engine foam degreaser and such.. but water will be needed.. and in which case.. make sure you wrap up the electronics with plastic bag and such to ensure the water don't get to them ( i.e. battery, fuse relay box, coil packs and such )

Armor All Wipes under the yellow top. bonnie94sse also suggests the use of a couple different wire brushes for the metal parts.

How much are these?? My main beef with engine cleanin right now is how you get those spots of ( wat seems like Calcium built up or rust powder? crap ) and it seems like theres no way of gettin rid of them without elbow grease.. but with the fuel rails that runs over them and such.. its a PITA to get to those corners with the brushes.. any suggestions?

GM Engine Shampoo is a maximum of $7.02 Cdn! Spray 9 out here is around $11 Cdn. I use a towel & dry my engine covers off after washing! As for the nook & crannies, well I know the GM Engine Shampoo if let to sit for a short while WILL get rid of just about anything. Then again, I wash my engine off every second car wash too & I wash my car at least twice per week!
