Default BLOWER NO HEAT OR AC IMMiEDIATE HELP PLEASE!!!

Ive been having this issue for the last month, my blower does not blow out heat or ac. Checked voltage to the blower motor which was fine tested blower motor module/resistor tested fine. Checked all fuses driver and passenger side*. Checked maxi fuse all fine. Everything else works ac cluth goes on just nothing from the vents. Recenlty i had it looked at, the shop for a week they couldnt figure nothing out ive been reseaching stil nothing. The mechanics said that its the climate module its self (above radio) which i replced one with a junk yard same results nothing from the vent heat or ac. Electical possibly?what should i look for?

Can i go through the glove box to get to this or does the whole dash come out? This doesnnt effect the vents or modes its the actual fan speeds theres no air coming out

And also will the air mix actuator, prevent the blower motor from coming on?

Sorry, missed that part, kids were talking to me. If the fans not coming on then you need to check for voltage. If none check the fuse, after that is the control. If you do have voltage then the motor may need to be replaced.

Tested the blower motor worked fine. Is there any way to check the (automatic) climtae module its self?

You tested the motor by putting a full 12+ to it, right? Many times the large amount of power cn make an otherwise non-working blower work. If you can..try less power.

Are you able to move the temp from full cold to full hot? If you can than it is not the air mix actuator.

Also just to make sure what is actually not working here; your saying that the 'vents' facing you are not working?

Is the air, if any coming just from the upper defroster vents by the windshield and the lower floor vents?

If no air coming from the front vents than you will have to check for either a vacuum leak or do a search here for "nipples" collapsing.

Sounds like you may have a couple of problems going on here. Though very fixable.

Ok re-read your posts and determined that all of the modes do work. Just no air movement.

The air mix actuator would have no affect on actual air flow so it is not that.

After rechecking the blower motor, there is also a blower motor resistor that controls the speed of the motor. This may be shot. Its located in the path of airflow in the A/C controller. Single connector going to it. Pull it out once you have removed the 2 or 3 screws holding it in. Look really closely to the fins as they do become brittle over time and break causing the motor to lose speed control ending up in a non working blower.

Photo for reference:

may or may not look like this depending on your year of Bonneville.

Also to depending on what year you have like the 92-94 you can do an on board check for faults in the A/C controller. Any years after that you can only have it checked at your GM dealer with the Tech II

Please update your sig so we know what year make and model Bonneville you have!

Thanks.
