92 SE rough idle and stalling?
Ok so here is the deal I have a 92 SE. It idles rough then stalls. also stalled out at 55mph +
I unplugged the MAF and that seemed to help the idle stalling but not to sure about taking it out yet. I ended up walking home 3 miles last night due to stall>dh2 Any thoughts or am I in the right direction with the MAF.

So after process of elimination and replacing needed parts I'm on the fuel system.
parts replaced
- batt. cables
- plugs\wires
- 02 sensor
- alt -good
- batt- good
- fuel filter
Now with the fuel pressure?
At key position on I have 42 PSI and it holds pressure. Now when I start the car it drops and maintains around 36PSI at idle. after the car warms up and when I push on the throttle it jumps to about 40 then drops to 34. release throttle and returns to 36? when the car starts surging Pressure rises to around 40 and jumps around? Is this a symptom of the FPR? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Also no Vac. leaks from what I can tell. And I can't pull codes due to check engine lite burnt out. And nobody in the area has a OBD1 reader!

The fuel pressure seems a bit low. To check the FPR you just pull the vacuum line and sniff it. Do you smell gas? If so, your FPR is bad.
If it stalls you can unplug the MAF and drive with out it. The engine will be fine. Just don't get on it.

Have pulled MAF and it still stall'*. Nothing in the vac line on FPR. It runs fine until the engine get'* up to temp than starts the hesitations and stalls. Also when on the throttle it acts like it bogs down for a second then returns. That'* when it died on me going 55+? I'm lost on this problem.

I know at one point they ohm at 12.21 I cant remember if that was hot or cold though? That seems a little high to me but am not sure?

Well I guess I will have the wife pick some up on the way home from work! Am I better to get the coil pack that is on there now? Or go with the generation 2 individual? Whats better. I'm guessing the individuals because easier to change out in future if needed.
