Default After the upper intake.

Last week the upper intake failed on my 95 bonne. The car started to run ruff and stalled.
I tried to start the car, but no go. I towed the car home and started to check it out. Sure enough, the upper intake failed. Got the new upper intake, installed it, new plugs and changed the oil. The car runs great but now it leaks oil, shut the car off and it dripps oil leak. I pulled the series II cover off, didn't see any leaks. Jacked the car up, it'* coming somewhere from the bottom side. What would cause it to leak? Any ideas? There wasn't any antifreeze in the oil. The mileage is124,600. Also, I get a little puff of blue smoke when the car is at idle when it'* at normal temp. It didn't do that before.

Did the engine leak oil before you changed the upper intake? You changed the oil, does your drain plug require a gasket? Did you install the correct Oil Filter(Delco PF 47 or equivalent)? You might want to clean the engine to get off all the existing grime off of it. Since you changed the intake maifold, the top side should be pretty clean. I'd spray some degreasing solvent around the bottom of the engine and then hose it off. Finally, if you STILL can't locate the source of your leak, they sell this fluorescent dye that I believe you can put in the oil. But you need a black light to see the tell tale signs of where it is leaking from. Let us know if you find the cause of the leak.
